Social Engineering & Phishing

As we observe Cybersecurity Awareness Month this October, remember that cybercriminals do not always attack systems—they also target people.

Social engineering involves manipulating someone into revealing sensitive information or taking an unsafe action. Phishing is a common example, where attackers use fake emails, messages or websites to steal passwords, financial information or other confidential data.
